Woody Alpern is an avid scuba diving enthusiast whose passion for the underwater world has led him to explore some of the most breathtaking dive sites across the globe. With over four decades of diving experience, Woody has logged thousands of dives, spanning vibrant coral reefs, mysterious shipwrecks, and the enchanting depths of underwater caves. His adventures have taken him from the warm waters of the Caribbean to the diverse ecosystems of the Pacific, always in pursuit of the next underwater marvel.

Woody's diving journey began when be was kid, driven by his fascination with marine life which prompted him to earn his Open Water Diver certification. Since then, he has continuously expanded his skills, becoming an instructor trainer and now with his partner Gus, together they have started their own scuba agency, Dive Talk Academy (divetalkacademy.com). His dedication and passion towards scuba diving is evident when watching Dive Talk, the YouTube channel he also co-created with Gus Gonzalez.
